Kick 4 kids slogan here

It all began with a kick-a-thon one day at the Cronulla Caringbah junior club in Sharks territory, where the u14s, including Brad Takarangai from the NRL Eels, whom was in the u14s team at the time. The team kicked goals non-stop for 12 hours converted over 1300 goals. Local business got on board and they raised $20 000 for kids in need. The name Kick 4 kids was established with their motto “kids helping kids

Since that day Kick 4 Kids have been running kid’s clinics every year and all money raised is donated to kids in need. One year to change things up, Kick 4 Kids Ambassadors & brothers Mitchell and Jake Gillard went on a 1000km tour of duty from Brisbane Broncos’ Red Hill base to Cronulla Sharks’ home, which included dropping in a Cbus Super Stadium to catch up with the Titans on the way through.

Mitchell, 11 at the time & Jake 9, also stopped at junior clubs along the way and got local kids to help them convert some goals.

The future goal is for junior clubs throughout Australia to allocate a day where they have their own kick-a-thon to raise funds for K4K which goes for children in need.

In the past, Kick 4 Kids have organised VIP days to NRL matches in Sydney for country based families who have had children endure long stints in hospital and are working towards selected children enjoying a “day as an NRL player” where they get to experience a day in the life of a player including training, lunch and game day.

In the past Kick 4 Kids has raised much needed funds for CanTeen, Starlight, Make a Wish, House with no Steps, Donica Clarke Foundation. In 2018 Kick 4 Kids has adjoined partner with They will also be establishing a fun rugby league clinic for special need kids.
